PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — For the second time in a month, a clerk working in Prestonsburg has been accused of using credit card numbers she obtained at work to go on a spending spree. Katie Picklesimer, 38, of Tutor Key, has been employed as a clerk at the King’s Daughters Medical Center clinic on US 23 in Prestonsburg. Part of her duties in that role was to accept payment for patient co-pays, many of which were paid with credit cards. Prestonsburg Police Det. 18 arrested in Buchanan drug roundup
GRUNDY, Va. — Police fanned out across Buchanan County on Thursday, armed with arrest warrants for 38 people, 18 of which had been arrested by early evening. Lawrence deputies arrest four for meth, heroin trafficking
FALLSBURG, Ky. — Four people are in jail on drug charges, after the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded to an overdose call and found meth and heroin. Deputies were called to a discount store at Fallsburg, where a man was said to be overdosing in the parking lot. While they were on their way, firefighters let them know that one of the men with him was trying to flee because of an outstanding warrant.
